How can Aslib's Open Learning
programme benefit me?
A. If you live and
work too far outside London
(or even outside the UK)
to attend our scheduled
courses, our open leanring
programme will give you
an opportunity to learn
the skills and techniques
you would be learning at
our public courses, without
having to lose time away
from the office.
Q.
How long will it take me
to complete this course?
A. One of the advantages
of this system is that you
can learn at your own pace.
The only condition we set
is that you must complete
the course within 3 months.
Q.
How can I learn new skills
efficiently, working on
my own?
A. You won't be on
your own. Once you have
committed yourself to one
of our Open Learning Programmes,
you will be supported by
a tutor who will offer you
guidance and who will monitor
your progress through marking
your course assignments.
You will also have regular
contact with your tutor
via e-mail. You will be
allocated as much one-to-one
tuition and guidance with
your tutor as you need.
